Takeara Tuesday: BBQ Jams

I'm going to start something where every Tuesday I talk about my picks for the week. Whether it's music, natural hair, or whatever. This week I'll be picking some songs I feel are appropriate for the 4th of July cookout. Let's hop into it!

Frankie Beverly & Maze- Before I Let Go

Get the family dancing and grooving to this timeless jam. Get everyone up and ready to join in the line dance. This is how you bring the family together!

Cupid- Cupid Shuffle

The Cupid Shuffle is another line dance for the family to enjoy together. Not only is it a method of enjoyment, it is a good form of exercise. Dance off all those hot dogs and hamburgers!

Montell Jordan- This is How We Do It

Another timeless jam that gets all the generations up and ready to party. Young and old know the song, which makes it a hit even to this day!

Wayne Wonder- No Letting Go

Jamaican or not, everyone can bump to this song. It is sure to people's hips moving and help everyone have a good time.

Earth Wind & Fire- September

Take it back down memory lane with this old classic and give everyone a nice laid back vibe.

V.I.C.- Wobble

Have you ever been to a party or cookout where this wasn't played? Me either.

Baltimore Bonus:

DJ Diamond K- Hey You Knuckle Heads

Anyone from Baltimore knows this song can turn the function up in a heartbeat, especially when you know the words.

What do you like to listen to at cookouts?

Embrace your Unique!
